He's Two!!!

Wow I can't believe Cale is 2! He is doing really well. He is still always the smallest kid when we go anywhere, but I am sure he will hit a growth spurt soon? He is saying around 50 words and this has just exploded in the last month. He is starting to repeat the last word he hears and he is starting to imitate. Chris was sweeping the kitchen and put the broom away and Cale walked over, got the broom and started trying to sweep. When I type it it doesn't sound to exciting, but for Cale it was big. He is not a big initiator. I still haven't had to baby proof anything because he just isn't one of those kids that gets into anything. We are still working on walking up stairs by himself, eating with a spoon or fork, jumping, and following two step directions! I have learned with Cale that if I just keep working on stuff with him and give him time, he eventually gets it! I am doing sooooo much better not comparing him to other kids. It took a while, but I finally realized that he is not going to be like everyone else. He has his own way of learning and doing things and his way suits him and us just fine!

As far as the pregnancy goes, I am getting miserable. I am 32 weeks this Sunday and measuring 40 weeks. Sleeping is starting to not be fun. I was in the hospital over night at 29 weeks because I was dilated 1.25 and was having bad cramps so my Dr. put me on modified bedrest. It has really helped with the cramps. That and drinking tons of water all day long. Hopefully I can make it to 36 weeks. That is my goal and anything after that would be even better. We have a tentative c-section for June 10 which will be 37 1/2 weeks.

I think Cale is going to love having 2 babies around. He is just so sweet and has such a sweet demeanor, I am hoping that it won't be a problem at all. We have a baby that he puts "nigh nigh" and swings in the swing.

Didn't do too much for the big two. He didn't know it was his b-day. But he loved the balloons.
We had to do the 70's pose on the bear skin rug. Every morning I go in to get him he points at the rug and says bear. More like "ber".Easter with Uncle Jason. Just a cute picture. He loves rocking in the glider. And fine, here it is. 30 weeks belly shot. See, not really much to look at. But, it has gotten a bit bigger. Those ligaments are really pulling!!

Great pictures of all of you guys. Cale makes me think of anchorman when he's on the bear skin run, and I like it. You and Chris do such an amazing job as parents. You guys are just the best parents Cale could ever have. You really are. These little twins better watch out because they are about to roll into super parent land, so I hope they bring their A game. Happy Birthday Cale!
